Printable Family Feud Game Questions (and Answers)

Family Feud game questions challenge players to think on their toes and guess how others respond. Free, printable questions work for trivia contests, family game night, or in high-tech applications for school.

Standard Game Play

Family Feud games include two equal teams of four to six people.

Select one person from each team to answer the question first.
These two people stand face to face and have an object, like a buzzer, they hit to indicate an answer.
The first team to buzz in with a correct answer decides if their team plays or passes on the round.
The rest of the team plays the round where each person down the line, one at a time, gives an answer to the same question. Provide an answer board to display correct responses as a person states them.
Teams get three strikes per round. If their answer matches one of the answers provided, the team gets 1 point. If their answer does not match, they get one strike.
After three strikes, the opposing team has one chance to steal the points from the round. The team agrees on an answer and if it is one of the provided answers, they get all the points the other team earned and one more point for the answer they gave.
Standard game play consists of 3-5 rounds. Each successive round has one less acceptable answer than the last. Rounds with fewer answers also have increased point values. For example:
1. Round 1 has eight answers, each worth 1 point.
2. Round 2 has seven answers, each worth 1 point.
3. Round 3 has five answers, each worth 2 points.
4. Round 4 has three answers, each worth 3 points.
The team with the most points at the end wins.

Bonus Round

The winning team gets a chance to earn more points and a grand prize at the end of Family Feud games. Use the printable questions for standard game play and the bonus round. Before the bonus round begins:

Choose five questions.
Rank the possible answers from most common to least common. Decide on your own which are most common or poll the losing team to rank them.
Assign descending point values to the answers after you rank them. For example, the most common answer is worth 10 points, the next is 8 points, the next is 6, the next is 4, and the last is 2 points.
Assign a required point value to win the grand prize. In this example, the most points possible is 90, and the least is zero so a winning score might be anything over 60.

For the bonus round:

Choose two players from the winning team. One person stands in another room where they can't hear and the other plays first.
The first player has a time limit of 30 seconds to shout out the first answer they think of after each of five questions.
The second player returns and answers the same questions in 40 seconds. If they duplicate an answer from Player 1, they can take a second guess.
Add up all the points from both players. An answer that doesn't appear on your list gets zero points.
If the team meets or exceeds the required winning point value, they win the grand prize.
